Tunisian Crochet - $30

Description: Tunisian crochet is considered by many to be a cross between knitting and crochet.  The distinctive fabric created by this technique looks almost woven instead of either knitted or crocheted.   Tunisian crochet is typically worked on a long hook with a stopper on the end -  similar to a knitting needle that also has a stopper on the end so that the stitches held on the tool do not fall off.  In this class we will make a small case to carry your phone or notions using multiple types of stitches and colors.  .

Skills Required:  Basic Crochet skills.  Chain.

Materials:  Tunisian (Afghan) Crochet Needle.  Small quantity of two complimentary yarns (worsted weight is recommended). Tunisianneedle appropriate for the yarn weight.  (Yarn and hooks are available in the shop for a 10% discount).
